Pop recording artist Demi Lovato just signed on as the latest spokesperson for Sketchers’ global marketing and social media campaigns through 2016. She is set to appear in a new Sketcher’s television commercial and print ad campaign. 

However, much is left to wonder as to specifically why Demi (of all of today's pop stars) was selected as the spokesperson and what personal ties does she really have to the brand to make it genuine? Also, there could be more multimedia-based allusions to past successful campaigns enacted by Sketchers (i.e. Britney Spears' print ads from the early 2000's) as well as links to their social media and website.

Awards generally make for good news and I think this is a very basic and dry press-release focused on informing the press about the awards received.  This is a shareable release that does include photos, but there is not any kind of call to action or possibility for fans to share in this success in some way, which could be a missed opportunity.

Warner Bros. Entertainment to Deliver Unparalleled Showcase of Upcoming Content to Comic-Con Crowd

It's that time of year again!  Comic-Con International takes place in two weeks and major entertainment groups are quickly announcing their plans to win over the attendees this year.  Warner Brothers Entertainment is hosting a wide variety of panels ranging from Supernatural and The Big Bang Theory to The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, video games, and their centerpiece, DC Comic's celebration of 75 years of Batman.

They have a lot planned for the four day event, if this release is any indication.  A little long, a little information overload, and a lot of Batman love from Warner Brothers.

Domino's new app for the ipad: Press release deconstruction (group 3)

Domino's created an ordering  app for the ipad. In order to promote it, they are selecting one winner each week, from July 8-September 30, that will receive free pizza for an entire year. Everyone who orders through the app is automatically entered for a chance to win. The press release features informative aspects about the contest but lacks to visually attract attention or provide an urgent call to action. The press release would've benefited from integrating their social media campaign for the app, it is more appealing and attractive with copy like "winner, winner, pizza dinner!" and images of the actual app on an ipad.

Without any imagery of this deliciously seductive menu item, Taco Bell is not only missing out on an opportunity to tease the taste buds of readers, but also it is decreasing the maximum spreadability of the release.
