New Balance (NB) positions its products as the “perfect
blend of function and fashion”, and it has established its brand accounts on various platforms, including
Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and Pinterest. As the brand differentiates its products as functional and stylish footwear, it attempts to
create more lifestyle relevant content
on social media. The content strategy is good overall, but the actual content fails to stimulate the interactivity
with target consumers. From this point, New Balance could have a better
performance if it can do more than only publishing content on social media.
